About the band

Five guys,one setlist

How this started

The short version

Mark, Dave P and Dan have been playing together for the better part of a decade. Dave I and Tom joined in 2023, and that was that.

What brought us together is a love of music. What we don’t always agree on is which music. So we play the ones all five of us like, pulled from across the decades. Sometimes that means a compromise. Sometimes it means somebody vetoes a song they just hate a little too much. Free Bird, Don’t Stop Believing and Sweet Caroline never made the cut.

Between five sets of taste you end up somewhere wide. Stevie Wonder into Stealers Wheel, Fleetwood Mac into the Foo Fighters. Some of your favorites, some you haven’t heard in a while, and a few we’ve put our own twist on.

Mount Pleasant is home base: Rivertowne, Mainland Container, Crush Yard, Bohemian Bull. But we’ll travel for the right room.

Dave Ingram

Vocals and some other stuff

Sings his heart out, then grabs whatever is lying around to play along. Harp, shaker, guitar, and yes, occasionally a keytar.

Mark Finkbeiner

Lead guitar / mandolin

Plays the solos everyone came to hear, and can occasionally be spotted strumming a mandolin.

Dave Palmentiero

Flawless rhythm guitar

Never rushes, never drags, never misses the change. Judges everyone else’s mistakes.

Tom Thompson

All about that bass

Holds down the low end on whichever bass the night calls for, and rarely says much. Doesn’t need to. You can feel exactly where he is in the room.

Dan Barron

Drums and vocals

Counts it in, keeps it honest, and sings harmony from behind the kit, which is a good deal harder than he makes it look.
